How to cancel a print job — 3 Comments

  1. Thanks for that. Worth knowing.

Another quick workaround I made for myself (I'm using Linux Mint 17) was to make a keyboard shortcut: Go to Keyboard/Shortcuts/Add Custom Shortcut. Give it any name you think is appropriate ie Printer Settings. In the command line type: system-config-printer  Click add and then assign a key combination. I used Ctrl P.

Now all I need to do to view my print queue is Ctrl P to get to the printer localhost, then Ctrl F to view the queue…… far quicker to use in a panic than to type commands into the Terminal!!
