Hectic
Bless me, Blogworld, for I have sinned.
It is a week since my last posting…..
Life has been a bit on the hectic side for the last week or so.
First of all, I was coerced into redoing all the graphics on Head Rambles. He seems to be happy enough with it for the moment, so that should give me some peace.
Then there was a rush to finish off a couple of sites. They are nearly ready for launch at this stage which is a major relief as neither was an easy job. This was made all the more difficult by the health, which has not been good.
I have been pretty much laid up for the week, alternating between bursts of work and naps in the armchair. To make matters worse, Grandad has been driving us mad with that flaming book. He had a newspaper interview and his radio interview and he won’t shut up about them. He is really doing my head in. God help us if the national press get involved!
To cap it all, he insisted that I stay up late the other night to record his fecking interview which was a classic example of pouring salt in the wound.
In fairness to Declan Mehan who did the radio interview, he did mention my name as the author of the book, but even then that bastard Grandad dismissed me, on air, as just being a nobody who does the typing.
Quite frankly I am sick of this.
I think it’s time to kill Grandad.
I certainly hope you don’t mean that literally (kill Grandad I mean). It carries a self destructive tone to it.
And I also hope you’re not seriously ill since I haven’t yet made it over to Ireland to spend some time conversing with you. Is it a cold then?
There are times when I am tempted. He annoys me.
Don’t worry. I have no intentions of popping the clogs yet [not intentionally anyway]. The old ME flared up pretty badly during the week but it’s easing now.
Ah, what a bother. Seems like you and I have more in common than meets the eye although our respective maladies are different.
This could be used to our advantage though once were finally able to end up in the same room together. We can easily drive away any undesirables by quickly switching the topic to comparing our various health issues.
Glad it’s easing some though. Always thinking the best for you.
I think if the two of us ended in the same room, we could outdo the women!
As for the power of Karma – The cat’s on the mend. 😉
And most likely be in trouble for it but that’s half the fun now isn’t it?
And the boy is indeed mending. Now if I can just keep him safe from the others past the new moon he’ll be fine (the cats get ornery the week of the full and new moons).
Nothing wrong with having a week or two between posts. It’s one it starts becoming months between posts that something is going wrong…
TheChrisD: This blogging lark is hard work. I don’t know how Grandad does it?
Has he killed you off perhaps? Now there’s a philosophical debate for another day.
Good point. Do we both then vanish in a puff of smoke?
